Andy Kaufman is pure. People who understand
him have no choice but to idolize him. People who can't understand
him are lost. Christopher Flore
I LIKE TO BELIEVE THAT ANDY WAS DIFFERENT FROM
US ALL. HE SAW THE WORLD THROUGH HIS EYES AS A MAGICAL PLAYLAND THAT
SHOULDNT BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED. HE HAD FUN AND IN RETURN WE HAD FUN
WITH HIM TOO. HE WAS MORE THAN ONE PERSON AND I THINK WE SHOULD THINK
OF IT AS THAT BECAUSE THERE IS TOO MUCH ABOUT HIM THAT WE CANT HANDLE.
AND ANDY KAUFMAN IF UR READING THIS I TIP MY HAT OFF TO YOU. BLUERAIN
Kaufman was pure genius. He was the first real
Heel in wrestling. Before it was good vs. Evil, and Andy took it to
the next level by fighting w/ the fans. He was the first to take real
Heat from the crowd, and he played his role perfect. I recomend seeing
"Im from Hollywood." and then you can see what im talking about. joe

I am one of the great Kaufman admirerers. I
don't think anyone feels the same way about Kaufman that I do. I think
that his style of entertainment was so groundbreaking, so reality-crossing,
so alive, that it can never be dated. I don't think Andy meant for
his legacy of self-entertainment to do what it did. I think that his
entertainment will never quite be dated. And what I truly hope is
that as time passes, as the years pass, as we grow closer to the end
of the world, Kaufman and his act never will truly be dated. And when
someone mentions "Andy Kaufman," they go: "The sicko?" or "That crazy
fuck?" or "That guy in that Jim Carey movie" rather than "Oh, that
cute little sweet guy from Taxi"?
It was (and probably is) the legacy that
Kaufman himself always wanted.
See you in the great beyond someday, buddy.
"The surfur"
Andy Kaufman was the most genius man ALIVE
if he was still alive I would marry him in a heart beat!!
GOOFIN' ON ELVIS Amy Barrett
Andy Kaufman was gone before I was born, but
I've seen some of the things that he did and I think he was great.
Andy Kaufman is an American Legend and I wish I could've been around
to see more of his routines. Mina B Anio
a genius,undesputed. Actually dispute that,
he wouldnt want it any other way. Lewis MacKinnon
Andy was a very eccentric performer who knew
how to work his audience for the reactions he wanted... Brian Rodgers
I think that Andy Kaufman was a comic genus
even though he didn't want to be called that. Even though we don't
know the reasons he did what he did, he was still very brilliant.
By the way, I need to know what Bob Zmuda looks like. Mhcaston
I think andy kaufman is very funny thank you
very much name. Garry
The movie Man On The Moon has taught me everything
I know about Andy, if he was at least half of what they showed, then
I believe he was the greatest artist to appear on television. Miguel
I saw the movie "man on the moon" Didn't know
much about Andy Kaufman. But since seeing the movie, I have understood
the type of person he was. And his memory will live on forever. Michael
I saw the film 'man on the moon' and was taken
back by this mans genius. Later I read some books on him and even
now I cant come up with who I think he was. Which is probably the
way he intended it all to be. What I am looking for now is footage
and highlights of his work. I've seen Taxi, but I want him performing
his own work! Richard
The "Cookie" episode of Taxi was the only thing
I've ever seen that made me wet my pants-- a little. He was a wonderfully
strange, talented, and funny individual. Tom Bess
I'm only 18,and I think Andy Kaufman is such
a genius,I feel JIm Carrey did him no justice.Unlike some young fans,my
admiration for Andy didn't come from Man on the Moon,it started with
Taxi, then I read the two biographies. Now I have all his tapes that
were released,Andy is definately the greatest performer ever.He is
simply like I said a genius. His name will live forever. Lenny
Andy Kaufman Rules!!! Yeah! Trent Steel
It's been almost a year since I became a fan
and the feeling is more dazzling than ever. It started with Man on
the Moon. I had no idea who the movie was about but was drawn by that
compelling song to see it. The lights went out and there I met Mr.
Andy Kaufman, finally, for the first time, brought back briefly to
life by Jim Carrey. Not knowing any better, I sat there, wishing and
hoping and hoping and hoping that he wouldn't die at the end. What
I liked most was the scene where he's just this little kid, jumping
around like crazy on his bed, putting on his best show for the audience
in the wall. After it ended, I went and bought Bill Zehme's book.
The plan was to read it, get some answers, and get over the whole
thing. It didn't happen. Instead, my little world expanded. Now I
share it with Tony Clifton who is a work of art, but underpriced.
I only have to think of him to smile. There is Foreign Man, who I
guess was always there, waiting for his applause. There are dreams
of flying on a trapeze and midnight roller coaster rides. There is
fun to be rounded up and a mountain to climb. I read the Huey Williams
Story not knowing what I would find there, hoping to find something,
but determined to love it no matter what. It swept me away. Do I think
he's alive? No, but I believe it, and it really feels like he's out
there somewhere still having fun and watching us. Sandra Koehler
I think after seeing the film,i think he was
a comic genious but the world wasn't ready for his type of humor.
Bernard Byrne.
Andy lives on. This site rules Christopher

This is absolutely wonderful. It's much better
than many of the sights I've been to about Andy. He would be proud.
:) Lacy Price
My name is Miguel and I'm 19, before man in
the moon, I did not know who was Andy, and now I know, he was a geniuos;
he made the people laught, get angry, even get bored!! and the people
love him without care of his stuff, and that's great!. Now I'm one
of his biggest fans, I'm angry that I can't met him alive, but the
books and some movies touched me with Andy's seal, I love Andy's job,
and Zmuda job!! they are the greatest!!! miguel angel morales
he's funny matt
KAUFMAN RULES TRISTI
Andy kaufman was an artistic genius that made
the audience think about the feelings thta they should be feeling
at that time. He made them explore themselves and gave them gut reactions.
